assignment 2
1. What type of brush must be used when layer masking and clone stamping?
The type of brush is a soft brush.
2. What key on the keyboard is pressed to select an area to be cloned when using the Clone Stamp tool?
The key that is used is option.
3. Explain the difference between making a selection with the Lasso tool and creating a Path with the Pen tool.
The lasso tool you create your own shape that isn't exact. The Path Pen tool you create exact shapes to help minimize the flaws.
4. What is the benefit of using a Layer Mask as opposed to using an Eraser?
The benefit is that you don't ruin your image.
5. What is "non-destructive" editing and why is it an important approach for a photographer using Photoshop?
It is a form of editing where you do not hurt the original photo. It is important so they do not ruin the picture.
-Why did this photo catch your eye?
It caught my eye because the kids look like they are having a fun time.
-Describe what the photo shows and is about. Be as detailed as possible. Imagine you are explaining it to someone that has never seen it.
The photo is of kids playing chicken in the pool. The children are laughing and having fun. The picture is in black and white. The photo shows happiness.
-Imagine you are one of the objects in the photograph. Describe the scene from your point of view. What happened before the photo? What happened immediately after? What's the temperature? What time of day is it? What smells are present? What is the atmosphere like? Are there noises? Do you feel safe or is there a chance of violence?
I am so excited today is my birthday all my friends and I got to go to the pool. Before we went to the pool we got to open presents I got so many good things! After we opened the gifts it was about 3 p.m. so we all went swimming for the rest of the night. The pool was really warm and everyone was laughing and having fun! We started playing chicken in the pool but my mom told me to stop so no one would get hurt.
